Create an original podcast through a step-by-step collaborative process spanning from pre-production to polished product! Work with your team to brainstorm content development and narrative structure, develop speech and voice acting techniques, and learn audio editing and sound design skills in Audacity.

This session of From Pen to Podbay is designed to have a creative dialogue with the co-current Improvisation, Creating Sound Worlds, and Lo-fi Fo-li courses, sharing original storytelling and musical materials to trade inspiration and bring ideas to life!

Jack Anderson is a full-time audio producer between his work with KUTX 98.9FM, KUTX.org, and freelance podcast editing. Jack is a former Sip Sip trumpet player who now specializes in instrumental hip hop under the producer name Back Handerson. When Jack isn’t editing audio, voice acting, or diving into music, he’s at home watching film noir and turning old jars into terrariums. About MFML Virtual Summer experience:

The Mother Falcon Music Lab is excited to bring our programming online!

With so much to learn and share, we’re ensuring participants are able to stay in the moment and centered on content. Each Artist Instructor is supported by an additional instructor in the zoom room to monitor needs, helping to field questions and assist with technical issues. Also, we are offering a virtual Chill Room – a spot where you can play a game, relax from class or talk anything out with Mr. Michael!

The unique content of this course has been developed by experienced artists and instructors in a ground up, collaborative environment. We are passionate about what we do and the experiences we share with our community!
